1. First you have to download the Oracle 11gR2 database server from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/index.html. You will get 2 file: win32_11gR2_database_1of2.zip and win32_11gR2_database_1of2.zip. Both must be unzipped on the same location.

2. Run the setup.exe from the database folder. You will see the following screen:

Type an email address and Click on "Next".

You will see the following screen:

Click on "Next".

For a home computer choose "Desktop class". Click on "Next".

Choose the Oracle base, Oracle home (under Oracle base) and the other settings. Click on "Next". Some prerequisite checks are done and after that the Summary screen must be seen:

Click on "Finish", and the following screen will appear:

If you receive the following error you can ignore it:

When the istallation is done you will see the following screen:

Click on "Close" and the database is up and running.
