1. Find the latest patch for the Rapid Clone Consolidated Fixes

Now (May 2008) the last Rapid Clone Consolidated Fixes patch is 5414396. Please check on Metalink if there is a newer one.  

2. Apply 5414396: 11i RAPIDCLONE CONSOLIDATED FIXES JAN/2008

- Check the prerequisites:

5985992 - TXK AUTOCONFIG ROLLUP PATCH Q (JUL/AUG 2007)
5161680 - PATCHSET 11I.AD.I.DELTA.5
3219567 - Patch 11i.TXK.B Technology Stack Minipack B (also in 11.5.10)
3264822 - Patch 11i.CAC.B
4334965 - 11i.ATG_PF.H RUP3
3261254 - Patch 11i.ALR.G
3036401 - Mini-Pack 11i.HZ.L
3263588 - Patch 11i.XDO.H
3264818 - Patch 11i.UMX.H
3263645 - Patch 11i.AK.G
3262486 - 11i.JTA.F
2614213 - AME PATCH :DELIVERY OF GA AND RULE PRIORITY FUNCTIONALITY
3261243 - Patch 11i.EC.G
4337683 - Minipack 11i.AD.I.2
3262159 - Patch 11i.FND.H
3412795 - ADSPLICE PATCH FOR XDO 

In my case all these patches or the latest one are applied.

- Apply the unified driver u5414396.drv using AutoPatch.

- Source the environment variables for Oracle Applications

. /APPS_MI/visappl/APPSORA.env             (in my case)

- Run AutoConfig on the APPL_TOP

$COMMON_TOP/admin/scripts/VIS_apps/adautocfg.sh             (in my case)

- Execute admkappsutil.pl utility to create the file appsutil.zip (on the Application Tier )

perl $AD_TOP/bin/admkappsutil.pl

This will create $APPL_TOP/admin/out/appsutil.zip

- Source the environment variables on the Database Tier

. /APPS_DB/visdb/9.2.0/VIS_db.env             (in my case)
