AD Jobs: Timing Reports

 

1. What are the Timing Reports ?

 

The Timing Reports are statistics about the execution of the AD utilities which use parallel workers (AD Admin, AutoUpgrade, AutoPatch). 

 

 

2. How could I create a Timing Report ?

 

AD utilities, by default, create such a report of the end of the execution. However, such a report could be created before the AD utility completes, by running $AD_TOP/admin/sql/adtimrpt.sql script and provide the session identifier as parameter.  

 

 

3. How could I read the Timing Report for the execution of a particular AD Job ?

  1. By reading the adt<session ID>.lst file which is generated automatically by the AD utility in the $APPL_TOP/admin/<SID>/out directory.
