Why running AutoConfig in Test Mode ?
When
AutoConfig runs, the existing configurations files are overwritten. That
may overwrite any customizations you made to the configuration files. To
prevent any unwanted changes, you can run the AutoConfig in test mode to
determine the impact of running the AutoConfig without updating the
environment files.

How could I run the AutoConfig in Test Mode ?
on
the Application tier:
$
<AD_TOP>/bin/adchkcfg.sh (on UNIX)
C:\>
<AD_TOP>\bin/adchkcfg.cmd (on Windows)
on
the DB tier:
$
<RDBMS ORACLE_HOME>/appsutil/bin/adchkcfg.sh
(on UNIX)

NOTE:
You
will be prompted for the location of the context files and APPS
password.
Here
is the information you will see on the screen:

AutoConfig is running in test mode and building diffs...
