A Data Group is a collection of pairings of applications with an Oracle account (Oracle user). This guarantee that the applications connect to a specific database account.
2. What is a Concurrent Program ?
A concurrent program is a process which runs in background, in parallel with other processes. Because is running in background you can do other things in that time.
3. Could you name a classic concurrent program/ process ?
Any submitted report is running in background, so it is a concurrent program.
A request group is a collection of reports and concurrent programs created for security purpose.
A request set defines how to run a set of reports and concurrent requests. The order of the reports, the parameters and the print options could be defined in the request set.
6. What is a stage in a request set ?
All requests in a stage are executed in parallel. A request set contains one ore more stages. The stages are run one after another.
7. What is the SRS (Standard Request Submission) ?
In Oracle Applications 11i, the Standard Request Submission is a feature which can be used to submit requests. This submission is done using the "Submit Request" windows.
